The Arbor 4/5 (C)

Suspira 3/5 (R)

The Ghost 3/5 (D)

The Road 2.5/5 (D)

Venus 3/5 (R)

The First Movie 3.5/5 (C)

There are some really amazing scenes, the balloon sequence in particular, but the film as a whole didn't quite work for me.

The Social Network 4/5 (C)

The first scene is amazing and made me want to finish my West Wing box set and then get and watch Studio 60. The rest of the film is a great entertaining experience but sadly largely forgettable.

The Visitor 3.5/5 (R)

The Secret In Their Eyes 4.5/5 (C)

This Sporting Life 3/5 (R)

Winter's Bone 4.5/5 (C)

Up In The Air 3.5/5 (D)

Really great start but overly sentimental and predictable towards the end.

New Moon 1.5/5 (D)

The Experiment 4/5 (R)

Goes too far at the end but mostly good, don't know why it took me 16 months to get round to watching it.

Dogtooth 3.5/5 (C)

And I thought Cyrus was a weird kid.  I'm not sure if I'll be able to listen to Fly Me To The Moon in the same way ever again.

Cyrus 4/5 (C)

Exam 4/5 (D)

Another great film that I imagine hardly anyone has even heard of let alone seen.

South Of The Border 3/5 (C)

Food Inc. 4/5 (D)

La Nana (The Maid) 4/5 (C)

4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days 3.5/5 (R)

The Lovely Bones 3/5 (D)

Le Refuge 3/5 (C)

Humpday 4/5 (D)

Skeletons 3.5/5 (C)

For some unknown reason it didn't quite work as well as I thought it should. I'm fairly sure that Nick Whitfield is going to make a truly amazing film one day.
